Save Fast Appointed Person (Lifting operations) Training is designed to give delegates an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of personnel involved with lifting operations.

​​​   This Course will provide the candidates with the underpinning knowledge, to be able to understand their roles and responsibilities when planning lifting operations, as per current legislation and with compliance of BS 7121.

Designed for staff at all levels, the course can be adjusted to suit the requirements of specific organizations, premises or course participants.

  • Types of Slings (Types & Inspection)

  • Shackles (Types & Inspection)

  • Eye bolts (Types & Inspection)

  • Inspection of Chain Blockand Lever Block

  • Rigging Hitches

  • Loads Weight Estimation

  • Loads Centre of Gravity (CG)

  • Slings Rating and Angles

  • Exercises

Day 3

  • Lifting method statement

  • Lifting operation risk assessment

  • Planning a lifting operation

  • Exercises

Day 4

  • Examination (candidates must achieve 75% as a passing mark)

Certification

On completion of the course and its accompanying assessment a certificate of achievement is provided and valid for Lifetime.
